Europe News is, as its name suggests, a European news publication. Its April 5, 2010 edition published an interview with a European psychologist under the title "Danish Psychologist: ‘Integration of Muslims in Western Societies is Not Possible.’" The psychologist's new book – which the author claims is recommended by Naser Khader, a Muslim politician in Europe – is based on the author’s in-depth interviews with 150 Muslim criminals in Danish prisons. The book offers Danish government statistics: 70% of inmates in Danish youth prisons are Muslims; Muslims are responsible for over 70% of the crime in Copenhagen; 64% of Muslim youth cannot read and write Danish after 10 years in Danish schools; 360,000 Euros per year is what it costs for welfare to each of the thousands of Muslim unemployed.

The author’s conclusion is that cultural differences preclude the integration of Muslims into Western societies. It is important to note that the distinction here is cultural not religious though the religion may foment problems, e.g., Islam’s teaching that beating a woman is the proper and appropriate way to settle differences between man and wife.     But Islam disapproves of the actual murder of women. Despite this, the U.N. – surely not inclined to exaggerate such things – estimates that thousands of Muslim women are "honor" murdered because they have disgraced their families. Thus a Palestinian mother murdered her daughter who disgraced the family by becoming pregnant after having been raped by several of her brothers. This is a purely cultural thing not condoned by Islam.

These facts raise significant questions for the U.S. as well as Europe. Recently a Muslim millionaire in Buffalo, NY decapitated his wife because after years of submitting to his beatings she had the gall to file for divorce. The growth of Arab populations in America prompts the following questions: Would a Muslim detective have properly investigated this atrocity or just whitewashed it? Would a Muslim juror vote to convict the murderer or to acquit him? Even more crucial, what would the attitude of Muslim police officers and jurors be in a wife-beating prosecution, given that wife-beating is the method prescribed by Islam for settling marital differences?

What about killing of gays, Hindus, deists, agnostics etc., given that that is the method Islam endorses for dealing with homosexuality and religious differences (except that Jews and Christians may be tolerated so long as they do not seek to propagate their religions)?
