The California state legislature recently passed two bills, Assembly Bill 962 and Senate Bill 585, that would infringe upon your Second Amendment rights.  Assembly Bill 962 would require the registration of all handgun ammunition sales and ban all internet and mail order sales, while SB 585 would prohibit gun shows from being held at the Cow Palace.  On September 23, 2009 on behalf of the NRA, Michel and Associates, P.C., submitted two letters to Governor Schwarzenegger urging him to veto each of these bills.
