ABSTRACT: It is illegal to manufacture, sell or possess any cane gun, short-barreled shotgun, short-barreled rifle, plastic firearm, wallet gun, unconventional pistol, any firearm which is not immediately recognizable as a firearm, any firearm container not immediately recognizable as such and which allows firing of the enclosed firearm by external controls, any ammunition which contains or consists of any flechette dart, any multi-burst trigger activator, any metal military practice handgrenade or metal replica handgrenade that has not beenmade permanentlyincapable of activation or any bullet containing or carrying and explosive agent, except as authorized. Any antique, curio or relic firearm, or ammunition legally possessed under the provisions of the federal Gun Control Act of 1968 or the regulations adopted thereunder are excluded. It is illegal after January 1, 2000 to manufacture, import, sell, lend or otherwise transfer a large capacity magazine (one that can hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition). Tubular magazines for any .22 caliber firearm, or any lever action centerfire firearm, are exempt from the 10 round large capacity magazine limitation.
